The MRCPsych Clinical Assessment of Skills and Competencies is a 16 station
OSCE type clinical examination (Objective Structured Clinical Examination).
Stations are not designed to simulate whole clinical encounters in psychiatric
practice, but rather simulate specific elements of clinical encounters that can be
realistically achieved in the time available.
